I was conditionally approved with GOES. The closest Interview site in 2+ hr. away drive.

I thought do it at airport while connecting. But my trips in the next 3 months are on Sunday or arrive after 4pm (after interviews close), or I have short 45 min connection.. I go to smaller locations (like Reno) where there is no GOES office at that airport.

I will be at JFK in July. Currently, it looks like GOES only schedules interviews 3 months out. Can I just wait and schedule in May? Or is there a maximum time after pre-approval that they give you to get interview done?

Yes, I may decide to drive 2+ hours one day mainly for the Interview, but prefer not to.

Also, once approved, can you use the GOES system the next day.
