I endedup with the 22 because I wanted the largest range in trips possible for a carry on. It can do an overnight or a week. I don't use the suiter with it however.... on the rare occasion I need a suit I carry it in a separate suit bag and that is my carry on.

While I do check it quite a bit (long layovers or I get to the airport early and don't want to drag it around) I have never had an issue fitting it on anything other than a ERJ-145 or CRJ-200. I'm not sure even the 19 would fit into those regional POS's. Are you on mostly mainline aircraft?
