Like mushrooms? They're grown in shite and you don't wash them - they just get the cr3p brushed off them before use. I do know people who wash them but trust me, most don't, especially high end restaurants. Washing them is a big culinary no-no.
What is a mushroom anyway? It's mold! We throw everything else out that has the stuff because it is bad, but some people devour them when they are on their own!And even worse, we love cheese that has the stuff injected into it!
