I think the numbers might surprise you. Beyond being a significant choice for American travellers, current fare levels would indicate that AC is trying to capture SEA traffic and DL is trying to capture YVR traffic. I can remember operating Mainline BCN flights which would carry more American traffic than Canadian. I regularly had to stock up on US Customs Cards above and beyond what was boarded.
