For departure time/arrival time, I think the choice comes down to either early morning or late evening, and if they wanted to go with the early morning departure, it will have to be something like 6 am departure out of YYZ if they want to get people into SEA in time for regular work hours, and this is probably a little too early to be the only daily flight.
I also fly this route occasionally, and I'm not a big fan of the arrival time in SEA either.
