It was pretty crazy indeed. To be honest, I don't know what was the better offer - the stay 2 get one (times 2), or the ones which were a little bit more complex and needed 2 different Holiday Inns, but could be completed with 2 Saturday stays. That was a complete shocker, considering $100-140 of HI stays (or less, depending on country) could be leveraged for $500+/night of Intercontinental stays. Very puzzling.

My own offer was reasonably hard, at something like 20-25 nights, three international trips, five (different) ICs and a few weekends. I almost missed it, too, as I miscalculated my work travel ... so I had to convert an award stay into a paid one to make sure I got the last IC. Phew. Hah. I'm going to enjoy Bora Bora with this, hopefully.
