Just want to add that if you get too much in Walgreen's gift card value, you can use it to buy gift cards for other stores at Walgreen's. I think they had Walmart gift cards last time I checked, plus many others.

Edited to add that you can use manufacturer's coupons with Walgreen coupons even on the free rebate items. If Walgreen's has buy l get l free cpn, use 2 manuf. coupons. However, you will spend less and get fewer FF miles with this strategy.
