I'm in the market and I'm curious why? Admirals club is $500, and as a gold Alaska member the Alaska Boardroom is $295 which includes all Delta clubs and a few Admirals clubs. Even if you aren't gold the $450 for alaska boardroom in my book is a better value than Admirals club since it includes the Delta sky clubs.

If I don't buy a boardroom membership, the next best for me is a Delta Sky Club - $450 and includes Alaska boardrooms. But as a gold 75k the $295 boardroom seems to make more sense than either Admirals or Sky clubs.

What exactly is the benefit of an Admirals club?
