The shocking part, I was just looking to book flights for later this month, checked the earnings calculator next to the booking and lo and behold it still gives me 5000 points with EBG (4000 would be minus the 25%)! It is Youth fare and booking class V. Please, oldies, do not report this to anyone!! Just get yourselves some erhm new passports and let the great machinery of SAS IT do the magic
Edit: Mr. Charming has kindly reminded me Youth tickets are flown in M class, despite being booked as V. Can still not be sure if SAS means this to be a intentional service now that they've capped earnings (on our - and their - ends?)
The big M on the boarding pass is the cabin class, that is not deciding for your earnings. The rest of us with our ancient ;-) passports also gets this. The booking class V should be deciding. I guess SAS IT have a few hic-ups (unsurprisinglyrics) before the new earnings runs smoothly on the system.
