First should be OK. Best case is that have a 2-5 minute walk to your gate.


Worst case is about a 10 minute walk run. If you are at A28, then I would tell the gate agent that you are in first and to call the gate agent at the Cancun gate.

If the fares are right, I would take a chance, 51 minutes should be OK, especially as you are not going to another terminal. So let us say the flight is 10 minutes late, it takes 5 minutes to get off the flight and another 10 minutes to get to your gate. You still have about 25 minutes. Not ideal but doable. Obviously things can get worse. I have missed connections when I had about 2 hours between flights, so I would do it but ymmv.
