The Comfort Inn (and Quality Inn, and Sleep Inn) breakfasts in the U.S. I have eaten have never really been bad, they are just not that good. Same old, same old. The best thing that can happen is to have a really charming employee attending the breakfast bar--at least, that will provide some entertainment while eating my packaged breakfast. I really became spoiled after eating Choice hotel breakfasts in Scandinavia for 3 weeks--each day, regardless of location, was quite a spread. At least 2-3 employees would be manning the operation, because it was so large. Typically, there would be fresh breads and cheeses (that you would cut from a cheese wheel), several meats, and even caviar in Sweden.
