Thanks for the link! Most of the airlines are 1:1 ratio. Now I'm not that knowledgable about the ratios but I'm assuming this is how it works...
If I'm traveling from LA to Taiwan, that's about 6,861 miles (I google searched it), then I would need to use 6,861 points right? Assuming that the airline I choose to travel is 1:1 (they don't even have China Airlines, how sad...).
This would mean that if, all my spending were 1 point, I'd have to spend $6,861.
But if I got a Barclay's Arrival Plus (which they offer 2x miles per dollar spent), I'd have to only pay half of $6,861 for a flight to Taiwan, right?
