Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried Ruby's diner before and they were greasy for breakfast with a limited menu. I don't expect much out of Airport food, but over the course of my travels, I've managed to pick out a few better options. Ruby's Diner, which is also in Terminal 3, is not one of them.
At least Terminal 3 had a Gladstones fish place. Terminal 1 had the decent and affordable Mexican place.
But, Terminal 6 looks like a bit of a good food dining desert. So sad, since I was excited post merger to visit Terminal 4, home of Campanile and Real Food Daily.
We'll likely end up at Ruby's or the Home Turf sports bar, unless I can convince my man to transfer terminals for dining, which isn't always easy at LAX. I think we have to go outside of security to do so...
I wonder how long US metal flights will leave from Terminal 6. All flights will be AA eventually. And then, I can finally explore terminal 4.
We're flying into PHL, which I know very well, and we can find decent food there.
Terminal 6 is sad.
As stated above, you do
NOT need to go outside of security to get to Terminals 4, 5, 7, or 8. There is a connector tunnel to Terminals 5 and 4 near Ruby's and there's a walkway to Terminals 7 and 8 right after security on your left.
