Not that there is anything you can do about it but I won't be shocked if 2015 is the last year SW issues companion passes, partially because of their increasing international travel. Even if they don't end the companion pass they could stop counting credit card bonuses towards it.
People who earned CP in 2015 have it until 12/31/2016
I have CP until 12/31/2015 but any hint of it being eliminated or going up in points would make me get CP in 2015 thus qualifying for 2016.
I have enough Wyndham and UR points to get CP again now but obviously I would rather do it via 2 credit card bonuses and a small transfer and have it for 2 more years vs 1 year
