Update - So I've flown the sectors now and as expected the mileage credited differs from the mileage calculator on the website, but even further than that, I have only been credited with saver miles iso flex mileage.

I've lodged a claim for missing miles and, very surprisingly, they replied in literally 2 hours. Except only to say they needed more time to investigate.

I happened to be on the EK website and checked again the mileage calculator and they have changed the calculation for this routing to what I was credited (except for the additional intra AU miles) - I guess they were, as someone says above, calculating my itinerary on BKK-DXB-BNE as this was the only available routing before the EK/QF Alliance.

So we'll see what they have to say. Maybe they'll be nice and credit on this occasion, or fight it.

I should really complain, I was op up'd on both my LH sectors on this trip, so that was nice xmas gift!
