Accepting that the OP's title is over-the-top and that the rhetoric is excessive, why is everyone so eager to make excuses for AA?

If he's in business class on a 77W he either (a) paid handsomely (b) used an SWU or (C) spent a fair amount of miles....

Regardless of the option, I think that entitles him to expect decent service and, if that service doesn't live up to reasonable expectations, to complain.


I was going to keep my opinion to myself, but I will add that the attitude of the cabin crew on last week's TATL r/t in F was pretty poor... the atmosphere and food were even worse.


So... "doomed" probably not, but disappointing?? definitely.
