I had no status in 2014, but have been Silver/Gold/1K for 14 of the past 15 years.

In 2014, I was 106 miles short of Silver with spend at $5k.

I made an email request in December about coming up just short in miles and was told to check in again before Feb 1 to see if an exception would be granted. Not to check for an offer, but for an exception.

I followed up again via email this week, but have not heard back. However, the mystatus page is showing the "Congratulations, you've earned Premier Silver status for 2015". My iPhone app is still showing me as a "Member" though, so who knows.

Just adding another data point for someone who had no status last year but may get a bump.
