I have to admit I have not done the flyertalk full on search for positano hotels yet, will do that now.

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I am definitely going to try to rethink my Florence strategy as a whole. If I can swing a hotel closer I will but for the trip as a whole if the budget doesn't fit it I imagine the garden inn is where ill end up. Seems like the rest i am good to go.
