Thanks for the replies. I was thinking it probably had to do with load. My last look at the seat map only showed 3 seats taken in business class, not sure what coach looked like. The extra miles are nice, the downside is I leave Tokyo 2+ hours earlier, and get to Portland 2 hours later than my original schedule. Not that big of a deal, but was looking fwd to the new 787 more than the older 767.
