And yet the times I have taken it the CW cabin was near full each time. The exception was summer, when WT was full and CW half empty. I would have though the 787 would have lower operating costs than the 767. It can be very difficult to get I fares on this route, they sell out quickly.
Although in fairness, I live in YYC, but I will usually take AC to YVR and connect to BA there simply to fly UD on the 744. It's also usually cheaper to go through YVR.
