I go from NCL to NZ twice a year, for relatively short stays, have been doing so since I was 12 years old. Over that time I've come to the view that the most comfortable and enjoyable way to do it is to go via HKG (if paying) or KUL (if on points/Avios). And stopping over for a night or two or three. Going direct misses so many great places en route
This trip is literally about getting to NZ as fast as possibleso my cousin can spend as much time with her sister as possible. I'll be there to see my other cousin that I haven't seen for 4 years or so now.
HKG and KUL will come in the future. My cousin normally flies there economy, wonder if she will be able to 'slum' SYD-AKL in economy after flying F LHR-SIN-SYD!
