Brother flew from CUN-LAX on UA last week, arriving at LAX at 8:50p in T7. He was bussed over to TBIT.

I've been bussed over TBIT after arriving at Gate 77 when the LHR used to arrive later in the afternoon.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment, but our MEL-LAX flight arrived at TBIT yesterday morning, as did the SYD-LAX. The aircraft were then towed over to T7 afterwards.
