I am actually quite familiar with this property having stayed here for multiple nights for several Breeders Cups and a good chunk of my nights have been there on points. I am not at all surprised you had issues, the property is not in the greatest shape and for a long time was in bankruptcy. You may ask, well then why have I stayed there so much? The answer is its one of the few area hotels which has availability for point stays during very high occupancy when rates are extremely high. Personally, I don't think you are going to end up getting anything, not saying you shouldn't just that is my opinion after many stays there combined with the fact your stay is with points and I know for a fact you got a steal considering what the nightly rate is for such an event.
