At the end of the day despite what we read or hear on the media we don't know what really happened out there. Those who are accusing BA of not acting quickly enough are more guilty of jumping to conclusions than anyone else are they not?
Disagree with what? The first page is full of people pointing how this must have been two tickets, and the second page even has some comedian giving us a lecture on the subject. That is before the OP had even commented on the ticketing arrangements. Not disagreeing, just rushing to judge and defend BA.

Also was it necessary that within 18 hours another poster was berating the OP for not responding with more details? It turned out the OP had been on two flights in the intervening period.

I can see both sides to the saga, the AI flight was late however people had also bought their tickets from BA so a contract existed there as well. Not as clear cut as some people would have you believe particularly because on the face of it there was still enough time to connect between the flights.
