Do you happen to know whether the first proposed open jaw for 82.5k is legal?

United rep told me it wasn't and that they couldn't book it for me, but since it's bookable on United.com, I'm not even sure what "legal" means?


Also, I'm noticing that when I search open jaw flights on United.com, relatively few flights come up. For example, I'm not seeing any codeshares with SQ to BKK (via Singapore). If I wanted to try to book through United.com on a flight operated by an airline like SQ that's not displaying on United.com, is there another way to do it or am I just out of luck in terms of trying to book United miles on more desirable Asian airlines?
