BA demanding seat payment twice!

Un-nerving experience when I logged into my upcoming Miami flight booking. My two tickets were bought and seats reserved and paid for, back last April, and the emailed receipt confirms this. Today, I check my CW bubble seats for the return journey (BA 0208 on March 21) and the screen tells me I owe another £5 for each. Doesn't explain why, but hey, it's only a tenner, so I pay. Then I go into my outward journey (LHR-MIA BA 0207, February 27), in PE, and it tells me payment of 2x£42 per seat is awaited.
I call BA, who tell me their screen shows I have paid and the seats are confirmed. It doesn't show to them that I owe money. The distant voice on the helpline doesn't seem to understand my concern, but assures me that my seats are reserved. When I check back later, the screen still shows that payment is awaited. This worries me because my two seats are the only window pair left in the cabin. I would not like BA's computer to think that as they have apparently not been paid for, someone else can have them. What can I do?
