I disagree, especially for a long haul flight. While you will undoubtedly be able to find better movies/TV shows for an iPad, I find looking at an iPad on a table for long periods of time uncomfortable for my neck. I have not yet found any sensible device that can be used to hang an iPad at a sensible viewing height on an airplane.
