Dec 11 evening flight YQM YYZ cancelled due to Toronto weather. Agent suggestion was midafternoon the next day which did not work so asked about via YUL. She booked me on the early morning flight commenting: "I wonder why the computer didn't suggest that?". She then used that routing for the person behind me at the counter.
The flight after stopping in YUL continued to YTZ though I switched to a YYZ flight for the segments. (After nearly a decade of no status, was able to use 2 schedule changes/1 IRROPS to take an expected 18 segments and turn them into 26!).
