We'll be staying here for 4 nights on leisure trip as diamond in late February - any advice in terms of what room to aim for?

I've currently booked a double points rate standard room and selected a $25/night upgrade to one of the nice corner rooms.

However, for the same cost I can forfeit the double points and just book the corner room outright to start with. I guess I'm unlikely to be upgraded from that reading feedback on here?

Would be interested to hear some recent experiences - especially in terms of upgrades.
