How to force (12.5k One way awards) (n) when available?
I am looking for a CHA-SFO flight on 04/06/15 (connecting in ATL)
when looking flights CHA-SFO one way. It prices them out at 17.5k miles (NL Fare) and above
But if I look it up as a multy segment: CHA-ATL , and ATL-SFO (each segment prices out at 12.5k each and both segments have N fare available).
If I look at a day earlier, CHA-SFO prices out 12.5k on N Fare. But the next day, the system only gives me the 17.5k NL fare, even though both segments have the N fare available, which I tought I should be able to get, and hence the total one way price be 12.5k.
Am I missing something here?
Forgive me but I am not really familiar with skymiles.
I have seen issues like this in united several times, but all I would have to do is do a ^^multy city^ flight search, and choose my route segment by segment, and at the end the system will reprice it correctly down to 12.5k.
I tried doing this on delta (all same day travel) and it priced me the 2 segment trip at 25k instead of the 12.5k I was hoping it would.
Is there any way to fix this? or do I just call in and ask an agent to force me into N fare on both and price me for a total 12.5k for that one way flight? is that even posible?
