Don't remember if I posted anything about my recent trip to Egypt, so here goes nothing...

Spent 8 days in Egypt (all over: Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Edna, Esna, Aswan, and more...even on the Nile), 2 in Abu Dhabi.

Phone service across Egypt was a 10/10

Texting was a 10/10

iMessage was an 7-8/10

Data was a 4/10 (thereby making iMessage anything less than a 10/10)

Facebook and Instagram were a 4/10

Data just hardly worked. Said 3G the WHOLE time, must have been less than 2G. Was so slow didn't even bother using it.

That aside, for Egypt, I'd still rank the service very highly.....I mean, having a phone on the Nile, on an old ship? Awesome! iMessage working EVERYWHERE? Awesome!

Pity re: email & web, but...better than nothing.
