Based upon an older post that preceded a new itinerary due to a schedule change, it would appear to be SJC.

Flights timetable changed today and he has know only 80 minutes for connecting time (arrival 15h05, departure 16h25)

1/ Does he need to register against his luggages or do they follow directly from Europe to final destination in US ?
2/ is this connecting time enough ?
3/ What happens with the tickets if he misses his flight ?
