Also interested for Arrival Plus. I tried to play the game that I use with Chase about "thinking of canceling" but that doesn't seem to work with the Barclay folks. I either get a front line rep who outright says no, or another rep who talks to me about amazing opportunities if I downgrade to other cards.

Edit: I called back for the US Air card this time and it was *much* easier. As previous posters noted they didn't hesitate at all. First The CSR asked me if I wanted the fee permanently waived (downgraded) or just for this one year. I said just for this one year, he put me on a brief hold, and it was done.
