Good point. The only down side that I see with this card is the 15k minimum point redemption. Not a huge deal, but when renting cars, booking a $77 NYC-YYZ westjet flight or paying off BA taxes the points would come in handy.
Do the points need to be redeemed in the increments they list (15k, 35k, etc.)? Or is it just 1cpp with a minimum use of 15k?
Also, if I get the Cap 1 IGH card do you think I can product-switch to the Aspire? Would want to try to justify the double pull
it seems like you must redeem using the increments... so for my my most frequent use of yyz-nyc or even yyz-mia its not worth it dropping 35k... BUT, there is an option for 1.5% cashback
Edit: I see it mentions as a requirement:
"In the last three months, you haven't opened or requested any new credit" - do they hold you to that? because I would not qualify in such a case
