I once took a first class flight to AUH and there two Qatari parents and four Qatari children in the Premium Terminal. Interestingly, the four children were in economy.

So in theory it looks like QR might be flexible.

But in practice I would not rate your chances that highly if you not a Qatari national and are outside of Qatar.
