I had a young chap sitting next to me on that VIE-ORD flight and he asked the flight attendant if he could move to another seat. She politely told him that he could but he'd have to wait until after take-off. He nodded back and then shortly after she moved down the cabin he asked me if he could pass and move to the seat that he wanted, to where he immediately proceeded. Quite selfish I thought.
