I doubt they will worry on that, as you may see for B744, there were 2 - 3 that was not fitted with PEY to do Asia run before they retire.

And according to CX 2014 Interim report http://www.cathaypacific.com/content...-report-en.pdf, I think those will be retire in 2015 and they won't be worry about it too much
