Went to perform OLCI this morning for a regional flight and was a little taken aback to see the seat map for Y begin at row 30, given how CX renumbered Y to begin at row 39 once PEY was introduced (even for aircraft without PEY). The aircraft was originally scheduled to be a 773 but seems like it has been switched to the lone 34B (no PEY) remaining. I thought the 343 refit process was completed last year? Anyone know of any plans to refit this lone plane? I can imagine a huge mess being caused if this plane needed to be subbed in on a long-haul flight for tech reasons - lots of potential unhappy PEY pax being downgraded.
