Start by making a list of things you all want to see and then group them together to reduce travel time between them. Remember that many of the museums here are free (other than special exhibitions) so there is nothing to stop you dipping in and out of them if you need a break.


All the museums have websites so you can plan visits in advance - especially to see specific works of art or items.
We are, indeed, quite prepared to physically negotiate the sites and sights. We will reassess the value of procuring a tour guide given the input that you and others have kindly provided. Thank you.
