Do BA keep award availability for EC but don't release this to other OW airlines? I'm searching LED-LHR-EDI later this year and I want to use Qantas frequent flyer miles. LED-LHR is available (on both BA and Qantas site), but the connection to LHR-EDI isn't available on Qantas site while it is on BA's site. Interestingly, when I look at the availability for the two legs separately (rather than just searching LED-EDI), the BA site shows no availability either on the LHR-EDI leg for the connection.

So, do BA restrict award availability to OW airlines, or do they have some 'special' availability to allow for domestic connections?
