Although most important, something I did not realize until just now, the longer we keep this going, the more airports we list etc, the more information we are potentially giving to people who should not have that information (ie terrorists looking to move around unchecked). So I'm throwing in a vote that this thread be deleted to avoid it being used for unsavory purposes.

If someone wants to move around Schengen unchecked they can get in their car, or hop on a train, or get on their bicycle. Checking ID at airport gates is not going to stop people from travelling from one Schengen country to another.
