Once seen a guy sleeping on the floor wedged in between the two middle rows of seats in WT coming back from HKG while his wife slept across the four seats.

Sorry,but sleeping on the floor is a big no no, for safety reasons nowadays, even though it may have been overlooked in the past, not saying you are old and that was a long time ago, as I don't know you
The person on the floor would not reach the Oxygen mask in time if a decompression occurs, that's why we stop people or children sleeping on the floor, petty it may seem to some, but it might save someone's life one day ^
