"world elite" or "platinum" on a credit card aren't worth the ink spent on printing those terms in terms of airline status.
With all due respect, the OP did say he had a credit card that allowed him access to the AC. That is what I was clarifying.
In my post, I also clearly stated the card came with no upgrade (or MCE) privileges. I didn't feel the need to specify that it does not confer status.
