Although most important, something I did not realize until just now, the longer we keep this going, the more airports we list etc, the more information we are potentially giving to people who should not have that information (ie terrorists looking to move around unchecked). So I'm throwing in a vote that this thread be deleted to avoid it being used for unsavory purposes.
not sure what's a crazier claim: that by far and large most schengen airports demand ID for schengen travel -- which goes against all of our professed experience
or that flyertalk stores a lode of highly-secretive, security-sensitive information to be skimmed by terrorists.
