Carry on and checked Rimowas fare quite differently.

From what I see at the baggage carousel there are 2 kinds of Rimowas

Dented aluminum Rimowas.
Broken polycarbonate Rimowas.


I don't see any real global brand changeover in the checked baggage realm.

I see regional trends and there were a lot in Hong Kong, not so many in Amsterdam.

What I am noticing is the latest generation of soft luggage gaining ground on all the hard side carry ons.

Companies like Red Oxx and Tom Bihns bag/ backpack convertibles hold more and seem to work better as carry on.
