I may book an award trip for CPH-ARN return and have a choice between Go or Plus. I understand that Plus will give fast track and lounge access.

The terms and conditions state that changes are not permitted after the outbound flight has taken place. But I'm wondering about whether SAS is likely to be flexible on our return flight if we arrive early at the airport earlier and seats are available.

We don't know when our business in Stockholm will be completed, and it could be as early as 10 am or as late as 4 pm. I was planning to book a flight from ARN around 5 or 6 pm, but if we are ready to leave before noon, would love to get on an earlier flight. With 12 flights from ARN-CPH on the day, presumably there could be availability. But will SAS stick to the rule or be accommodating?

We had success with this twice in the past when returning from LHR to CPH, but we were in the old business class at the time. Not sure how Plus is treated.
