I'm going to have an 8 hour layover at NRT next month, roughly 9 am to 5pm. Having never stayed at a capsule hotel this seems like a perfect opportunity to spend a few hours at nine hours, especially after a middle-of-the-night wake up for a 4:30 am flight.

Has any stayed at nine hours yet? How does it compare to the day rooms at NRT?

Ideally I'd like to wander through NRT for 1-2 hours before heading to the hotel. Once I go through transit security and into the departure area is there a way to get back to immigration and leave the airport (nine hours is outside of security/immigration)?
