I'm doing the opposite. Landing in OGG and coming home through HNL from YYZ. I chose YYZ LAX OGG on the way there. AC 789 767 with pods and overnight (my choice) in LA to UA417 - not lie flat but hopefully better seating than AC Rouge. On the way home I go through EWR. UA14 with lie flats then AC 8669 with their North American business class on the CJ 705. I have tried AC Rouge before and if I can avoid it, I will. Especially on an overnight!
