A small note : when you exit Bristol or George V you have plenty of shops so the area is lively. For the Shangri la you have to walk 5 / 10 minutes if it matters.
I tried their standard restaurant (not l'abeille) and it was very good and not that expensive. The spa offer pool access to outside guest with a treatment for a small additional charge, not sure if that affect how busy is the pool.
