I too am a Marriott Platinum and chose the Ritz over the Marriott SJ. The Ritz PR was beautiful when we stayed in September. Also is easy access to the airport. The staff were typical RC friendly and accommodating. Beach access is very easy, and both the pool and beach are wonderful. The breakfast buffet was eh, but overall I was thrilled with our stay there and would choose it again.
